Press Release – Site visit to Festival City Polyclinic

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Mr. Malcolm Watkins recently led a team of Ministry officials on a site visit to the Festival City Polyclinic, which is currently under re-construction.

According to Mr. Watkins, the Polyclinic, located on Aubrey Barker and Blue Mountain

roads, North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, is scheduled to be completed in March 2021.

The site visit was conducted as part of efforts by the Permanent Secretary to speed-up ongoing projects at the Ministry with the view of bringing them to completion.

Mr. Watkins has, to date, conducted other visits to the Centre for Infectious Disease Control and Prevention at Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown and the new head office building for the Ministry at Brickdam, Georgetown.

He has also accompanied Minister of Health Hon. Dr Frank Anthony on visits to a number of regional health facilities in the past few weeks.
