Canadian Organisation pays courtesy call on Chief Education Officer
(May 30, 2018)- Hands across the Nations (HATN) a Canadian non-governmental organization with over twenty years of working in a number of sectors across the globe including education, paid a courtesy call on Chief Education Officer (CEO) Mr Marcel Hutson.
During the interface the officials discussed opportunities that they can address in Guyana for the advancement of the education sector.
According to HATN, Literacy, Special Education Needs (SEN), Teacher training, Music in schools and sports are some of the areas that HATN will be lending its support.
Hands Across the Nations is an organization committed to making a positive impact on the social and economic conditions in developing countries.
The organization partners with community leaders to ensure projects are sustainable and lead to lasting enhanced quality of life.
The five officials that visited CEO were Mr Bonnie Frye, Mr Frank corker, Ms Bernadette Logan, Mr Jim Feye and Ms Veronica De Santos.
