CFATF Judges and Prosecutors Conference gets underway in Georgetown

The Caribbean Financial Action Task Force Judges and Prosecutors Conference got underway in Georgetown this morning at the Pegasus Hotel.

Legal luminaries from member states will be sharing experiences on countering terrorist financing and money laundering during the discussions over the three days.

President David Granger and Secretary General of the Commonwealth Baroness Patricia Scotland will deliver remarks at the opening ceremony.

Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs Basil Williams, SC, says the hosting of the Conference here signals an important step in the right direction.
