MoHSSS’ creating digital directory for women owned businesses

In a few weeks, the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security (MoHSSS) will be introducing a digital directory and app, which will promote women owned businesses across the country.

It therefore means the 75 businesses (inclusive of food, health and wellness, skincare, arts and craft, digital technology) that were part of the Ministry’s WE LIFT two day extravaganza on March 6 & 7 and women who participated in the Garment and Accessories Cottage Industry project will benefit from the initiative.

“The directory and app will enable persons to access women based business with just a click,” Minister Persaud explained, as she continues to develop programmes to empower women.
