MOPH confirms 19th COVID death

The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed the country’s 19th COVID-related death.
The 36-year-old man passed at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation on Wednesday afternoon.
To date the country has recorded 313 confirmed cases of COVID-19, this follows the testing of 3,418 persons of which 3,105 returned negative results.
Citizens are reminded to continue practising social distancing in the workplace, public spaces, and while using public transportation to reduce the spread of the coronavirus disease. They are also reminded to practise frequent hand washing/sanitising and always wear a face mask if they have to go out.
