11-year-old student from Tuschen Deaf Academy receives a laptop from Hon. Dr. Vindhya Persaud

Anaya Lall, who is celebrating her birthday today, February 5, 2021 received a laptop to assist her with her online studies from Hon Dr. Vindhya Persaud, Minister of Human Services and Social Security, this morning.

She is a student at the Tuschen Deaf Academy. The 11 year-old is also a chess aficionado who receives weekly training from a Chess Master, Guyana Chess Federation.

The birthday girl was accompanied by her mother and two representatives from the Deaf Association of Guyana. Minister Persaud said the Ministry is committed to working with the Association.
