Disciplined Forces to cast ballots tomorrow

DPI, GUYANA, Thursday, February 20, 2020.

Members of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Guyana Police Force (GPF) Guyana Fire Service (GFS) and Guyana Prison Service (GPS) will be casting their ballots tomorrow, February 21.

The disciplined forces are voting ahead of the March 2 General and Regional Elections.

The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) had stated that 60 polling places across the country, would be made available for the service ranks.

According to GECOM, some 10,000 ballots have been extracted for the disciplined forces across the ten regions.

There will be 47 ballots for Region One; 282 for Region Two; 1,482 for Region Three; 5,324 for Region Four; 976 for Region Five; 1,328 for Region Six; 61 for Region Seven; 17 for Region Eight; 29 for Region Nine; and 680 for Region 10.
