Registration Advisory for new and continuing Students
Kindly be advised that owing to the COVID-19 pandemic the University of Guyana’s Registry is not performing face to face services on the University’s Campuses. However, the Registry continues to offer ALL services to our prospective and current students online. If you fall into one of the aforementioned categories please be guided by the information below.
NEW APPLICANTS:
Thank you for your interest and applying to the University of Guyana. Kindly send notarized copies of your certificate of declaration, qualifications, birth certificate, passport size picture and receipt for your processing fee to the email addresses admissions@uog.edu.gy (Turkeyen Campus) or ugbc.registry@uog.edu.gy (Berbice Campus) to facilitate the verification process. If you have not already done so, you could pay your processing fee at Republic Bank – Account # 962956880181(for applications to the Turkeyen Campus only) or Account # 976556655716 (for applications to the Berbice Campus only) or through MMG/Sure pay/Bill Express (Category of Payment: Application Processing Fee– Application #).
Notarization of documents can ONLY be done by a Commissioner of Oaths to Affidavits.
If you wrote CSEC this year 2020, we will await the release of your results in order to complete the document verification process. When you receive your results please also have this notarized and sent to admissions@uog.edu.gy (Turkeyen Campus) or ugbc.registry@uog.edu.gy (Berbice Campus). If you have already submitted your documents there is no need to take any further action at this time. Kindly note that the verification and admission process will continue until October 5 and while we are processing as fast as we can, the present circumstances and the high volume of applications are causing delays. We are working towards ensuring all applications are processed by the end of September.
Registering Students:
If you are a first year student and you have been already admitted to a programme kindly accept the admission offer, print the offer letter, go online and register for all your courses for the academic year
2020/2021.
Please note that you will be given a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. Kindly make a note of it and the default password that you will be given. Kindly follow the instructions on each tab on the web page and proceed to submit your online registration for courses in this semester.
CONTINUING STUDENTS
For continuing students, kindly select and submit your list of courses for the new academic year
2020/2021.
Please ensure that at the end of the process your registration page states “Successfully Submitted”. If you do not see this notice please re-check and re-submit or call our help desk if you repeatedly fail to successfully register.
