According to the REO, the upgrade is timely given the school’s present condition.  Repairs are expected to commence shortly and will include replacement of the entire front wall, damaged columns, faulty boards, construction of new stairways, complete rewiring of the school’s electrical system, repainting and landfilling, among other renovations

“The administration continues to develop the region through work in each individual section. Therefore, this construction demonstrates our commitment to providing a conducive environment for our students and teachers,” Jaikaran stated.

The regional engineer is currently in the process of finalising the necessary steps needed to begin the project. The REO expressed confidence that the necessary stakeholders will cooperate with the administration to ensure the smooth completion of the works.

The REO assured the teachers and PTA members that he will be supervising the work, “Proper work is what we need from contractors so the administration wants to ensure that what is agreed upon for this project is done without having to redo these same repairs within a short time.”
