Youths of the Grace Prayer Centre tour State House

Georgetown, Guyana – (August 16, 2018) First Lady, Mrs. Sandra Granger, today, facilitated a tour of State House for a group of members of the Grace Prayer Centre International, as part of church’s Annual Youth Camp activities.

The First Lady welcomed the excited bunch, giving them historical facts as she took them to various sections of the building including the conference room and the Credentials room. There was also a short programme held at the Baridi Benab which saw dances and singing by members of the visiting team.

President of the Organisation, Pastor Barbara Franklin expressed gratitude for the opportunity to tour State House. “We normally have an annual camp [during which] we choose some places within the City to take the youths because we come from the hinterland… So this year we chose State House which was a great experience because none of us ever had this opportunity.”

She lauded the work that President David Granger and First Lady are doing to develop Guyana.
