BREAKING NEWS – Riana Toney from Anna Regina Secondary is Top CSEC 2019 student

Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations results are in, and Guyana has recorded a record-breaking 73 per cent overall pass rate.

The Ministry of Education announced the results for the May/June CSEC and CAPE examinations today at 16:30hrs at National Centre for Educational Resource Development (NCERD).

Topping the country is Riana Toney from Anna Regina Secondary. Toney secured 19 Grade Ones. In Second place is Alex Abraham from St Rose’s High with 18 Ones and 2 Twos, while in third is Charrandat Narine with 18 Ones and 1 Two. Narine is also from Anna Regina Secondary School.
