Foreign Minister participates in 27th Meeting of CARIFORUM Council of Ministers
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd, earlier today participated in the Twenty-Seventh Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Caribbean Forum of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (CARIFORUM).
During the meeting, which was chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation of the Republic of Suriname, the Honourable Albert Ramdin, the Council discussed the status of the Post-Cotonou Agreement and Post-Cotonou regional programming of development cooperation.
It is expected that the Post-Cotonou Agreement will be initialed in April and signed for provisional application by November.
