Masquerade band ushers in holiday season at Prime Minister’s Residence

Saturday, December 15, 2018

Ushering the Christmas Season, a masquerade Band this morning danced its way onto the lawns of the Official Residence of the Prime Minister in Main Street, Georgetown.

The Prime Minister and Mrs. Sita Nagamootoo joined the merry revellers in a jig before sharing with them ginger beer and Chinese cake.

The group from Ann’s Grove on the East Coast of Demerara delightedly posed with their happy hosts for photographs, the first they ever had at the Residence and, in this case, on an impromptu visit.
